Our Team

Charleston Hip & Knee Replacement Center has an excellent team of healthcare professionals providing quality and efficient care. We are committed to giving our patients personal and attentive service before and after surgery.  

 

Highly-skilled physician assistants (PAs) are an integral part of our team, completing patient evaluations, physical examinations, writing prescriptions and managing much of the pre- and post-surgical patient care. The team approach at Charleston Hip & Knee Replacement Center ensures that patients’ needs are met in a timely and personal manner, and that comprehensive care, from diagnosis through treatment, is seamless. 



John McCrosson, MD
Dr. McCrosson earned a medical degree and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Dr. McCrosson is board certified in orthopedic surgery and specializes in hip and knee replacement, and has performed more than 5,000 hip and knee replacements.

He is recognized as one of the top joint replacement surgeons in South Carolina and is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Patrick Murray, MD

Dr. Patrick Murray is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he also did his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery. After completing a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Stanford University Hospital, Dr. Murray joined Charleston Hip and Knee Replacement Center, where he specializes in hip and knee replacement, revision total joint surgery and hip and knee fracture care.
William Boring, PA-C
William "Brett" Boring earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and completed his Physician Assistant PA) Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). His PA practice has specialized in orthopedics, both in Iowa and in South Carolina. Brett has been with Charleston Hip and Knee Replacement Center since 2012.
Courtney Cribbs, PA-C
Courtney Cribbs earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and completed his physician assistant studies from the University of Findlay. He has been involved in orthopedic care since 2006 with attention to total joint replacements for the past three years. Courtney lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife and their two daughters.
